Playing JD, the Ventura surfer who loses his precious surf board, is Khan Chittenden.

Following graduation from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2004, Khan starred in the award-winning Australian television series "Blue Water High."

Following "Blue Water High," Khan appeared in the feature The Caterpillar Wish for director Sandra Scriberras. Khan filmed his first lead role in the 2005 film WEST which premiered at the 2007 Berlin Film Festival.

In 2006, Khan's starred in the Warner Independent Pictures' Introducing the Dwights with Brenda Blethyn. Introducing the Dwights screened in the Premieres Section of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

In 2008, Khan will be seen co-starring with Guy Pearce, Sam Neil and Miranda Otto in the How To Change In Nine Weeks.

Ray Santiago - A graduate of Fiorello La Guardia School of Music & Art & Performing Arts in 2002 (also known as the 'Fame' school in New York City), Ray Santiago got his big break when he was cast in Meet The Fockers after auditioning for Robert De Niro.

 
Iris - Rebellious, smart, artistic, and outspoken, Iris is friends with Anne, J.D., Lardo and Sparky.

Allison Scagliotti - An actress and published poet, Allison began her career in television with recurring roles in “Grounded For Life,” “One Tree Hill,” and “Drake & Josh” and guest spots in such favorites as “Zoey 101” and “ER.” The TV Set, starring Sigourney Weaver and David Duchovny, marked her big screen debut followed by the title role of “Maggie” in the indie short Redemption Maggie.

 
Anne - Cute, intelligent and idealistic, Anne is part of the gang and has her’s eyes set on J.D.

Caitlin Wachs - At the age of 17, Caitlin Wachs is already an entertainment industry veteran. She’s been a series regular on “Profiler,” “Commander In Chief,” “Days of Our Lives,” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Her film credits Thirteen Days Goodbye Lover, and The Next Best Thing. She received the Young Artists Award nomination three years in a row and was a 1998 nominee at the Hollywood Reporter YoungStar Awards for best female actress in a TV drama series.

 

Following his co-starring roles in John Waters' Serial Mom alongside Kathleen Turner and Ricki Lake, and Angelina Jolie in Hackers; Matthew Lillard burst onto the screen in the box office hit Scream portraying the hyper-kinetic serial killer "Stuart."

Lillard, as veteran surfer and board shaper "Mike Mooney," leads JD's crew into the San Fernando Valley to retrieve the prized surf board.

Lillard was previously seen in such diverse projects as The Groomsmen opposite Edward Burns and John Leguizamo, Paramount's Without A Paddle, opposite Seth Green and Dax Shepard, Wicker Park co-starring with Josh Hartnett, cult hit S.L.C. Punk, She's All That, HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk," Summer Catch, Scooby Doo and its sequel Scooby Doo: Monsters Unleashed as the revered animated character, "Shaggy." 

Lillard recently performed on the London stage in the Sam Mendes produced cult off-Broadway hit Fuddy Meers and will be seen in the 2008 Seven Arts' picture American Summer.

 
Whether capturing the darker side of characters in the iconic roles of gang member Ajax in The Warriors and Ganz in Trading Places or displaying a more seductive nature as billionaire playboy Richard Wright on HBO's "Sex and the City" veteran actor James Remar continues to show his versatility.

He recently completed the Columbia Pictures' Judd Apatow Productions comedy Pineapple Express starring Seth Rogen and James Franco with David Gordon Green (Snow Angels) directing and can be seen on CBS's "Jericho" and Showtime's "Dexter."
 
Joan Jett – Del
In her 40s, female, she's an ex-surfer-chick/homeless woman, with wild eyes and a crazy smile, who speaks in a faint, nearly incomprehensible mumble. A harmless sweetheart a scavenger who makes "sculptures" in the sand from her many found treasures on the beach, she's instrumental in helping J.D. locate the guy who stole his surfboard.

Jane Leeves Jane Leeves is known best by audiences as ‘Daphne Moon’ the warm-hearted working-class physical therapist from Manchester, in NBC’s “Frasier,” a role that garnered her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Leeves’ feature film credits include Miramax’s Music of the Heart, opposite Meryl Streep, the remake of Miracle on 34th Street, Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life, and Tony Scott’s The Hunger.
 

Playing crotchety liquor store owner Mr. Canadianedas is rock legend Kenny Laguna.  At the age of sixteen, he was producing and singing bubblegum hits. In a career that spans decades and musical genres, Laguna has collaborated with and produced music with such diverse artists as Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers, Andy Warhol, Bow Wow Wow, and Bikini Kill. 

In the mid 80s, Laguna began a business and artistic partnership with Joan Jett and the Black Hearts.  Today, Jett and Laguna head indie record label Blackheart Records.
